Montessori education is an educational approach developed by the Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori for the organized development of kids in their early age. BenchMark follows the internationally renowned AMI curriculum in its Montessori division. The learning in our Montessori environment is guided by teachers who have undergone training and certification. Their content and skill levels are periodically updated and learning happens in an inclusive environment.
BenchMark Primary consists of grade 1 to 5. The schooling at primary level starts off with a week-long programme to ensure that the learners possess entry level knowledge and skills. The triple language programme takes care of the language needs and lays a strong foundation for the language needs for the future. From grade 5, the students are also provided optional entry to special training to take up competitive and career oriented “Future Programmes”, with Exclusive exposure in improving numerical and analytical starting from Grade 5.
BenchMark Middle School includes grades 6 to 8. Middle school is transitional step for students between elementary to high schools. The importance of a middle school education is crucial as it lays down the foundation for the student to move to the higher education. This is focused on in our middle school with the addition of value added courses. From grade 6 to 8 BenchMark has two streams: one which caters the gifted learners and the other empowers the common stream. The gifted Future Batches are treated with a special curriculum of consistent sessions in critical thinking, communication, analytical, reasoning, numerical and presentation skills.
9th and 10th grades at BenchMark are dealt with utmost attention as the students in the early adolescent’s stage are moving closer in facing the adult world and making their career choices. We try to accomplish the twin goals by making them successfully reach the academic and career goals. The BenchMark tries to make them perform in the standardized school/board tests and the career-centered education challenges.
Senior Secondary reflects the intellectual phase of schooling which will be added to the future generations. BenchMark Senior Secondary Section is an excellent example space where a systematic process of teaching- learning process strengthens both the intellectual and moral side of the student. Our well-equipped laboratories support the scientific enquiries and aid in experimentations of the students. Here the students are envisaged to score in the competitive examinations like NEET, JEE, KEAM etc. with an admirable performance.
