Day 1 : 20th June

Reading is considered to be the prime brain- stimulating activity for brain development. 19th June is observed as reading day and the following week as reading week in remembrance of Shri P N Panicker, the Father of Library and Literacy Movement in Kerala. BenchMark International School, Tirur conducted a series of seminars for its children to overcome the wide learning gap that occurred due to the pandemic.

The whole week program was inaugurated by the eminent writer Dr. Basheer P Tirur. He took the children into various characters and brought them an idea of being knowledgeable through reading. The school academic team and management team were active initiators of the programme.
