Our commitment at BenchMark International School is to provide a safe, positive, intellectual learning environment that will empower students to become creative problem solvers, critical thinkers, and inspired learners for life in the twenty-first century. Having been an educator for several years, I keenly support the pivotal, proactive role an educational organisation of repute plays in today’s society.
I am asking each student to make a commitment to be an active participant in their learning and act responsibly as an individual within our learning community. Doing so will enable all to have a successful and enjoyable school time. We hope to create a healthy environment where subjects, sports and co-curricular activities will mould our students and spur them on to be the brightest and the best.
In order to do this, the parents and the school authorities must work together to inculcate certain values in the students. Respect for one’s elders, especially the teachers and a commitment to discipline are engraved in Indian culture. Let us inculcate these ideals in our younger generation. A student who has respect for the teacher will be more receptive to authority and to learning. This will enable him/her to get the best out of the school. While the academic programme is the central pillar of the school, we strongly encourage involvement in the many and varied extracurricular activities the school has to offer. The skills learnt in the cultural and sporting spheres of the school are critical in the well rounded growth and maturity of all our students. We believe that every child is a winner and we will strive to ensure that they realize their full potential at BenchMark. Best wishes for the schooling year ahead.
