BenchMark Tinkering Lab

The main idea of establishing Tinkering Labs in the campus is to encourage students to understand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts practically and creatively and inculcate skills such as design mind set, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc. through the use of specific tools and equipment.

The Benchmark Tinkering Lab has begun operation in the campus as part of the school’s innovation programme to develop science and technology talent. By providing facilities such as kits with self-operated learning devices, 3D printers, and robotic kits, children gain access to a vast world of science. Students would use specific tools and equipment to explore the practical application of STEM theories and concepts. The Tinkering Labs will encourage young minds to combine creativity and logic by providing them with do-it-yourself kits containing robotics, electronics, science, 3D printers, sensors, and so on.

The lab was officially inaugurated on 23rd July 2022 by Dr. Sujith A , Head of the Dept. of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Kozhikode. Mr. Fazalu Rahiman, Director, Crinnolabs , felicitated the gathering. The distinguished presence of the school Chairman, Mr. Rafeek Mohamed P M, Manager Mr. Ibrahim Haris U V, Academic Director’s Dr. P K Babu and Dr. Habeeb Rahman, Director Mr. Pramod Kadengal, HMs Mr. Biju M N and Mrs.Shobana C made the event significant and memorable.
